Hello, I'm Jay from behind the lens at JWPhotos.
For years, I’ve found joy in capturing photos—whether it's street photography, animals or pets, night shoots or special events. I’ve always been drawn to photography, finding beauty in the smallest details and the most fleeting moments.

Over the years, people have taken notice of my work and asked me to capture special moments for them—whether it's during a walk, at a birthday party, or at a wedding. I’ve always enjoyed the process, especially when I see the joy on people’s faces after receiving that one perfect shot.

I’ve had the privilege of shooting at several events, including weddings, with one of my favourites being in Cyprus, where I captured some amazing moments along the beach. It was challenging, but so rewarding.

I am a Yorkshire-based photographer which simply means I'm friendly and up for a challenge. I like to travel around to find different shooting styles and my images reflect the diversity of styles.

Until now, photography has been my passion and a favour for friends and family. But after so many enquiries about booking sessions, the question shifted from “Why aren’t you available?” to “When can we book you?” And I realised there’s no reason why my passion can’t also be my profession.
